Join us for coffee and a celebration of our historic buildings.

Back by popular demand...the Rural Municipality of Gimli’s Heritage Advisory Committee is holding an open house for anyone interested in old buildings and our community’s history.

On hand will be the Hon. Peter Bjornson, Minister of Entrepreneurship, Training and Trade, and Mayor Tammy Axelsson, who will reveal and acknowledge the 25 buildings in our community that have recently been selected as significant historic sites.

Along with our committee’s unique collection of photographs and displays from the past, representatives from other beach communities will be joining us this year, bringing with them stories, pictures and information about significant buildings along the west shore of Lake Winnipeg.

There will be refreshments and door prizes, so please join us. Bring your own photographs and memories. We’re looking forward to seeing you!
